Making a complaint

How to report a breach of the Companies Act

Our complaints process is designed to encourage members of the public, creditors, insolvency practitioners and other agencies to make a complaint or to provide information about a possible breach of the Companies Act.

Make a complaint

By submitting a complaint form you certify that the information you provide is true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief.

You can file your complaint anonymously. If you don't provide enough information, and can't be contacted for additional information, we may need to close our investigation due to lack of evidence.

Complete as many sections of our complaint form as you can, providing as much detail as possible about the alleged offending.

To ensure your complaint is processed quickly, make sure you send all relevant supporting documents. We can't take action until we receive all the supporting documents.
